Arts & Crafts
Arts and crafts is something I really like to do! I tend to become more crafty around Christmas time, but then again crafting is something that can be done at any time of the year. Every year I try to make something for Christmas to put in my tree. Well I did that for years until I had my tree full of homemade items, then I stopped. Now I don't bother to put up a tree but I still like to make things for Christmas, and I still like to have my house look somewhat christmasy, so I've been making christmas knick knacks...lol Here are some of the things I've made recently, so please don't criticize too harshly...lol
Flower High heel
This is an old shoe I painted, added beads and flowers, added some tiny flowers and baby's breath along with a little bird and there you go, a nice center piece.

Christmas Deer
I glued two candle stick holders together, added a plastic plate, some moss, a christmas deer, a few trees and once again another nice little center piece.

The Swan
Bought an old swan, painted it and added some flowers. Instead of moss I use cotton batten. Looks awesome to me...lol

My Receipt Box
I bought a two dollar wooden box and embellished it with flat pearls and glittery diamonds. Keeps all my receipts in one place.

Love
I bought a little sign that says "LOVE" and I embellished it with diamonds and pearls and quilled flowers I made.

Bells
I made these bells using Dollar Tree plastic wine glasses that I turned upside done to create a dome. I then used the base of the glass as a bottom so hold the cotton batten I used as snow. I cut the bottom out of a cat food container, embellished it and used it as a base so I could put a small touch light under it. They turned out really nice!

Angel
I made this angel using Dollar Tree mesh. I cut the mesh into twelve pieces, stretched it sideways, then used six pieces to make the skirt and six pieces to make the wings. Added a head and once again another nice wall decoration for Christmas.

Frosty's Top Hat
Frosty's top hat was created by using a Dollar Tree plastic plate, a coffee creamer can, black paint, some ribbon and some christmas picks of choice.

Paper Art
These wall hangings were made using toilet paper rolls, some quilled flowers I made and a few diamonds. Very cheap, but looks really nice!

Glass decorations
Decorated mason jars to use as candle holder with fairy lights
End jars are candy jars I made.
These are two remaining parts of an old canister set I had so I embellished them to put candy canes and mints in for christmas.
Not sure what I'm making next, but I'm sure I'll find something!
